Hello Friends! 

You might have noticed that I've been out of sync for a couple months (maybe longer) and wondered why. I've given some deep thought about decisions about my life and my business. For those of you that know me and really follow me, you have heard me tell the story of what motivated me to start this journey of Photography. It all started with that shot I took at a basketball game so many years ago; a mom and her son in the stands that captured moments rich with emotion, realness and authenticity and the adventure started.

The passion I (still) have is there. I've been doing a lot of soul searching and these are not just business decisions but soulful intentional shifts toward doing work that aligns with my values.  This realization has led me to make a decision that feels right for both my heart and my business: I am choosing to focus only on specific unique sessions that truly inspire me and serve clients who resonate with the vision I have for my work.

I’ve come to realize that the most fulfilling sessions aren’t just about the work itself, but about the connection between me and my clients. When I work with people who share my values and appreciate the artistry behind what I do, the energy is real. The photographs are not just images—they are stories, expressions, and memories that feel personal and intimate, a reflection of our shared connection.

When I'm doing work I love, it’s not just a win for me—it’s a win for my clients as well. The energy I bring to each session, the attention to detail, the creativity—it all comes through in the final images. I want my clients to feel as inspired by their experience as I do. 

I’m learning to honor my own creative needs and boundaries. In the past, I’ve said yes to opportunities out of obligation or fear of turning business away. But I’ve learned that the more intentional I am with the work I take on, the more I can give to each client, and the more my creativity thrives. This shift allows me to pour my heart into the projects that resonate most deeply with me.

Photography has always been my way of seeing the world through a different lens—literally and metaphorically. It’s how I connect with the moments that matter. By focusing only on the sessions that speak to me, I’m creating more space for magic; for the kind of work that fills me with gratitude and joy. I’m deeply grateful for the clients who will walk with me on this journey.

By stepping away from the hustle of ‘more', I’m choosing quality. Quality of work, quality of relationships, and quality of experience. This is where I find joy and fulfillment, and it’s the kind of work I want to continue creating in the world.
