Frequently asked Questions... this is your Senior year... your story to tell..

About the Session

How do I book a session with you?

Booking is simple! Just head to my contact page and fill out the inquiry form. I’ll get back to you within 48 hours to schedule a consultation where we’ll talk about your vision, interests, and how we can make your session feel authentically you!

Where will my session take place and how long will it last?

I love exploring locations that match your vibe, whether it’s a peaceful nature spot, urban streets, or somewhere meaningful to you. I’ll help you pick the perfect setting to tell your story. Most Senior sessions last about 1.5 to 2 hours. This gives us plenty of time for outfit changes, exploring locations, and capturing a variety of shots.

How far in advance should I book?

I recommend booking at least 2-3 months ahead, especially for fall and spring sessions, which are in high demand. This ensures we can secure your preferred date and have time to plan your session.

Hazel Eyes Style & Approach

What makes Hazel Eyes Senior Sessions unique? I don't want mine to look like everyone else's.

Your session is all about you. I work closely with you to understand your personality, passions, style, and vision to create images that feel personal and meaningful. No cookie-cutter poses or locations here—just a one-of-a-kind experience that highlights who you are.

Do you retouch the photos? I don't want them to look over-edited.

Yes, I do light retouching to enhance your natural beauty while keeping things authentic. My goal is for your photos to feel timeless and true to who you are. If there’s anything specific you’d like edited, just let me know!

Feeling Comfortable & Confident

What if I'm nervous or shy in front of the camera

No worries at all! I create a relaxed and fun environment where you can feel completely at ease. By the time your session comes around, it’ll feel like you’re just hanging out with a friend.

What if I don't know how to pose?

That’s totally okay—you’re not alone! I’ll guide you every step of the way, helping you feel natural and confident. Most of the time, I’ll capture candid moments that truly reflect your personality, so you don’t have to stress about “getting it right.”

I'm worried I may feel awkward in front of the camera. What if I'm not photogenic?

Trust me, everyone feels this way at first! My job is to create an environment where you feel comfortable and confident. I’ll use natural prompts and lighthearted conversation to make the experience enjoyable—and I promise, you’ll look amazing.

What to wear & Bring

Can I bring Props or outfits that represent my hobbies?

Absolutely! Whether it’s your favorite guitar, sports jersey, or a book you can’t put down, I encourage you to bring items that tell your story. These personal touches make your photos even more unique.

Do you offer guidance on what to wear?

Yes! I’ll send you a style guide with tips to help you choose outfits that feel like you while looking amazing on camera. I’m also happy to help you plan outfits during our consultation.

Can I include a friend or family members in my photos?

Of course! Whether it’s your best friend, sibling, or even your pet, I love including the people (or animals!) who matter most to you.

Booking & Payments

Is there a deposit due and do you have payment plans?

The session fee is a non-fundable retainer and is required to secure your session. This ensures your spot is reserved just for you!  Monies for products and/or digitals are due on the day of the session and must be paid before anything can be ordered. If a Payment plan is needed, we can discuss.

What forms of payments do you take?

I take credit card (with 5% fee added), checks made out to Hazel Eyes Photography, cash or Venmo @kelly-milluzzi.

What if we need to reschedule or cancel?

Life happens—I totally get it! If you need to reschedule, just let me know as soon as possible. I allow 2 reschedules, and we’ll work together to find a new date that works. If weather throws us a curveball, we’ll make a backup plan! Since the session fee is non-refundable I do not offer a refund, but if something comes up, lets chat - I'm happy to find a solution that works for both of us!

After the Session

What happens after the session

After the session, I’ll carefully edit your images and present them in an online gallery within 2-3 weeks. From there, you can select your favorites and order prints, albums, or wall art.

Do you offer packages or prints?

Yes, I offer several package options, including digital files and custom print products. I’ll guide you through choosing the best way to display your photos so they can be enjoyed for years to come.

When can I receive my order?

From the time you place the order and final payment is received, photographs are available within 3-4 weeks. Once received and packaged, we can set up a time for pick up.

Miscellaneous & Special Requests

What if I have blemishes, bruises, cuts or scrapes on session day?

You do not need to reschedule, if asked these can be removed at no additional charge.

What happens if the weather doesn’t cooperate?

Weather can be unpredictable, but don’t worry—I always keep an eye on the forecast leading up to your session. If it looks like rain or extreme conditions, we’ll reschedule for the earliest available date that works for you. Your comfort and safety are my top priorities
